Leeds Mindfulness Cooperative are offering free mindfulness for wellbeing taster sessions for LGBT+ people aged over 50.

This is an online taster session which will be followed by the option to join a free in person 8 week Breathworks Mindfulness course. Mindfulness means being aware of experience in the present moment. Mindfulness can help us live well including when we have difficulties such as pain, fatigue, anxiety, depression or loneliness. The session will be delivered by experienced mindfulness trainers who are part of the LGBT+ community in Leeds.

Leeds Mindfulness Cooperative have been teaching Breathworks Mindfulness courses in Leeds since 2007.  They became a Cooperative and a Community Interest Company in 2017. The team have a great deal of mindfulness experience along with an understanding of what it is like to live with a long term health condition. They have a person-centred non-medical approach that empowers people to regain control of their lives.
