Employers must seek to understand and support their working carers in order to retain them in the workforce and maintain their well-being and productivity. During the Covid-19 outbreak, many existing carers are having to adapt the way they balance work and caring, and other employees will be taking on new caring responsibilities, many becoming carers for the first time.
