Leeds City Council is pleased to announce the launch of the 7th annual Public Health and Wellbeing Conference for Leeds, which will take place on:
Date: Tuesday, 12 March 2019.
Time: 9 – 1.15pm.
Location: Weetwood Hall Hotel in Headingley.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘Not Fake News’ as we’ll be exploring ways to tell fake news from fact, and busting some common Health and Wellbeing misconceptions such as
- Is there really an epidemic of ‘Spice Zombies’ sweeping Leeds?
- What are the health and wellbeing priorities for Leeds?
- Why is the incidence of mental health in the UK twice that of Germany?
If you are working to improve health and wellbeing in Leeds, then this event is for you.
