You are invited to feel good, keep moving and dance on at the Dance Health Link event as part of the Dance On programme, on Monday 13 December 2021, from 3-4.30pm.

At this online event research findings will be shared from Dance On – a community based dance programme designed to tackle physical inactivity in older people in Leeds, Bradford and Doncaster.  Academic research by Leeds University has shown that Dance On increases and sustains physical activity in older adults, reduces fear of falling and is cost effective.

Dance On is an evidence based programme which is fun, local and social and has increased participants health and wellbeing.  Join in and explore how you might embed Dance On into your health care pathways, such as Falls Prevention or within Public Health programmes.

Please email [email protected] to reserve your place.

“I wake up and feel so happy when it’s a Dance On day! It makes me feel so uplifted. I never thought I’d be dancing like this at my age and enjoying it so much. Thank you”
