Join Stone Kind and Leeds Community Foundation for an interactive, in-person training session to equip charity trustees and senior management with the knowledge they need to carry out their roles effectively.

The session will focus on the key charity law duties for trustees and senior management, as well as providing guidance on the steps that trustees and senior management can take to implement good government practices.

Topics will include:

  • Regulation by the Charity Commission;
  • Key charity trustee duties (including Charity Commission guidance such as CC3 – The Essential Trustee);
  • The split between trustee and executive functions;
  • Conflicts of interest and loyalty;
  • Common governance issues;
  • Other topical issues, such as what the recent change of government means for charities.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout this interactive session.
