Due to current social distancing measures, Community Links is unable to deliver safeTALK and ASIST suicide prevention training in partnership with Mentally Health Leeds. They are instead piloting Living Works Start suicide prevention training and can offer a limited number of FREE spaces to frontline staff and professionals working in Leeds.

LivingWorks Start is a 90-minute online training program that will teach you how to recognize when someone is having thoughts of suicide and take meaningful action to keep them safe. The course is for anyone over the age of 13 and no formal or prior suicide prevention training is needed. In addition to completing the online training participants will also be expected to attend a 2-hour workshop facilitated by an experienced Suicide Prevention trainer. This will provide an opportunity to discuss the skills learned during Living Works Start in a safe and supportive environment.
