Carers Leeds and My Homecare are hosting a free workshop to support unpaid carers in Leeds. This informative session aims to provide practical advice and guidance on:
- Understanding dementia
- Coping with unusual behaviours
- Practical ways to support someone living with dementia
- Looking after yourself
- Maximising your income
- Mental capacity and planning ahead
- Support for the person with dementia
- Emergency planning
This workshop is open to unpaid carers only, and pre-booking is essential.
