What’s the Event About?

The Conservation Volunteers and Groundwork, in collaboration with Forum Central and Third Sector Leeds are delivering a workshop to discuss the development of a Green Active Provider network for the city.

This workshop provides an opportunity to:

• Share knowledge of current transformation work within the health and care system in Leeds and discuss the potential role of Green Active Providers in the transformation.

• Discuss the merits of a strategic forum for third sector providers of Green Activities in Leeds as a means of enhancing and better representing the voices of Green Active Providers in strategic discussions around health and care.

• Develop a shared plan for next steps.

While the primary focus of the workshop is health and wellbeing the event also provides an opportunity to discuss other areas of collaboration not currently covered by existing forum.

Who is the Workshop For?

The workshop is aimed at representatives of third sector organisations providing activities in green or blue spaces across Leeds, but is open to anyone with an interest in reducing health inequalities through green activity.
