Age UK Leeds is a leading local voluntary sector organisation providing high quality services to improve the health and wellbeing of older people in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation’s established Senior Management Team (SMT) to lead the development of a number of new initiatives and delivery of its existing operational services ensuring they continue to deliver excellent client focused services.
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Hospital to Home, SWIFt and Help at Home services. In addition, they will have organisation wide responsibility for;
- The development and implementation of organisation-wide quality management processes, procedures
- Service user engagement, to ensure that service user involvement is key in the development and delivery of all services, and is embedded in practice and development
- Oversight of volunteer recruitment, development and engagement
As a member of the SMT, they will contribute to the strategic development of Age UK Leeds and help shape the culture and core values. They must have the ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise conflicting work loads and delegate effectively. They will have proven ability to build and manage effective and high performing teams. Experience of effective partnership working in a health or social care environment is essential for this post.
