Come along to join the launch of a new Arts and Health and Wellbeing network, developed in partnership with Leeds City Council and other organisations across Leeds
The new city-wide ‘Arts and Health and Wellbeing’ network will connect clinicians and public health bodies with a broad range of organisations and arts professionals who are engaging in arts and health activities in Leeds.
Developed by Leeds City Council and the Cultural Institute at the University of Leeds, the network will facilitate discussion between different sectors and enable its members to form collaborative groups in areas of shared interest.
By attending, you will be able to shape the development of a city-wide network which aims to connect and support people who use arts and health services, their families, practitioners, and researchers involved with arts, health and wellbeing.
The network will facilitate discussion between different sectors and enable its members to form collaborative groups in areas of shared interest.
The event will take place on Thursday 24 January between 12-2pm
Room 700, Leeds Central Library.
This event is open to all, and encourages anyone with an interest or experience of arts and health to register.
In particular they are interested in connecting clinicians and public health practitioners with people who use arts and health services, together with researchers who are investigating health and wellbeing through the lens of arts and culture, artists whose practice broadly addresses issues of health and wellbeing, creative and cultural sector professionals and third sector organisations.
Register your place at the launch event on Eventbrite.
If you are interested but can’t attend the launch event, please sign up to the network to receive communications and further opportunities to get involved.
