The Crisis card, cardboard stand and poster are now available to organisations nationwide free of charge.

The card is made to be carried by anybody who may experience extreme mental distress and needs to be able to have a say in their own care even when speaking is impossible. Just present the card to anybody involved in helping like police officers, paramedics, A&E staff and mental health professionals.

The card needs to be filled in when the person is in a calmer state perhaps assisted by a professional (CMHT care co-ordinator, support worker, psychologist etc.)

Sean is the communications Officer at Leeds Older People’s Forum (LOPF) and also deals with admin and office management.
