Understandably, many charities are concerned about what to do during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, so the Charity Commission has published some advice based on “frequently asked questions” it has received in the last few weeks.

The Commission says its approach to regulation during this uncertain period will be as flexible and pragmatic as possible (so as to act in the public interest), whilst helping trustees to be aware of and think about the wider or longer impact of their decisions on their charity.

The guidance, which will be added to on an ongoing basis can be found on the Charity Commission website.
