Forum Central is seeking to appoint the Third Sector Representative on the Health and Wellbeing Board to take over from Alison Lowe when she steps down in August 2021. The Health and Wellbeing Board is the key body overseeing the Leeds Health and Wellbeing Strategy, influencing the commissioning of services and working to improve the health of people in Leeds.
The role of the Third Sector Representative is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to champion the work of the Health and Wellbeing Board across Leeds and advocate for the city’s diverse Third Sector within the board. We encourage applications from those who have strong knowledge of the Leeds Third Sector, voluntary and community services. We are keen to hear from those who will be confident and driven to help develop strong partnerships and person-centred outcomes by championing the work of the Health and Wellbeing Board across Leeds.
Interested parties should provide an expression of interest in the form of up to two pages to [email protected], outlining their Third Sector employment and experience and how they meet the role criteria by 5 July 2021. Any questions, or barriers that we may be able to help address, can be raised informally with Gabby, Pip, Alison or any member of the Forum Central team. Short-listed applicants will be invited to an informal meeting as part of the decision making process which will be made by Forum Central with input from the Health Partnerships team. For more information, including the support to the role, please see the role description.
