This is a series of identical information events, kindly hosted by some Neighbourhood Networks.
Monday January 13 | 2:00 – 3:30 pm | Methodist Hall, 1081 York Rd, Seacroft LS14 6JB
Wednesday January 15 | 2:00 – 3:30pm | Belle Isle Senior Action, 26 Broom Crescent, LS10 3JN
Friday January 17 | 2:00 – 3:30pm | Bramley Lawn Day Centre, Rossefield Approach, LS13 3RG
Wednesday January 29 | 10:00 – 11:30am | Methodist Hall (opposite the library), Town Street, Horsforth, LS18 4AH
These sessions will provide information about what makes people more at risk from fire and will give you the information you need to refer people to West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS).
They were initially offered to Neighbourhood Networks staff, but they would also be of benefit to staff from any organisation who feels they might be in contact with older people who may need a home fire safety visit.
WYFRS are also trying to get to know what activities are available for older or isolate people within their local area so they can tell people they meet about them.
The events are free, and it is OK for more than one member of staff to attend if appropriate but please book.
