Forum Central news – goodbye Gill!

/, Mental Health, PSI/Forum Central news – goodbye Gill!

Gill Crawshaw, who has been a key member of the Volition team for over 10 years, is leaving us in August. She will be starting a Masters in Curation Practices at Leeds College of Art.

Gill has been an instrumental member of the Volition team, advocating strongly and passionately on behalf of mental health and the third sector. More recently, she has led our work on Physical and Sensory Impairment (PSI), where she raised the network’s profile, recruited new members and developed partnerships.

Gill has a background in the arts, with a degree in textiles and passion for creativity. She has previously volunteered with a variety of exhibitions, and in 2016 she curated “Shoddy” an exhibition of work by disabled artists, at the Live Art Bistro in Leeds.

Her dedication, creativity, innovation and knowledge will be very greatly missed by Volition, PSI Network and the whole of Forum Central.

From all the team at Forum Central, trustees and members, we wish Gill every success and happiness in her new adventure. We’ll miss you, Gill!
