Responsible to: PSI-Volition-Tenfold Board of Trustees

Employed by: Forum Central

Salary: PO4/5 (points 41-45 depending on experience) £37,849 – £41,678

Contract: Permanent subject to funding.

Annual Leave: 28 days + 8 days public holidays

Pension Scheme: 6% Company scheme or up to 6% contribution to personal pension scheme

Hours of working: 37  per week

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead the work of PSI-Volition-Tenfold under our existing Forum Central contract.

You will have a strong passion for partnership working and be able to understand and translate complex strategic environments.

Forum Central represents over 250 member third sector organisations working in physical and sensory impairment, Learning disability and mental health and wellbeing across Leeds.

We are a network run by and for our members enabling networking, partnership and a collective voice across Leeds’ physical and sensory impairment, learning disability and mental health strategic developments.

We are currently lead contractor of Forum Central, the collective voice for the health and care third sector, delivered in partnership with our infrastructure partners Leeds Older People’s Forum.

This is a senior strategic role in the city representing Forum Central in a range of Boards, Committees, with partners, organisations and other key stakeholders, as well as supporting our members in their roles as system leaders and representatives.

Strong persuasive and influential communication skills and sound relationship skills are necessary skills for this role.

Currently based in Leeds city centre at Joseph’s Well, where we are co-located with our Forum Central partner LOPF.

Sean Tunnicliffe
Sean is the communications Officer at Leeds Older People’s Forum (LOPF) and also deals with admin and office management. He enjoys the wide variety of his role which covers things like designing reports and documents, organising meetings, putting together ebulletins, writing blogs, updating the LOPF website and social media and making sure that the office never runs out of milk. He has worked in the third sector since 2001 first with Volition and then LOPF and is the longest serving member of the Forum Central team. Previous to this Sean had mainly worked in horticulture and also had a spell managing a newsagent shop.
