Job Title: LOOP (Leeds Open Online Platform) User Community Builder
Salary:£25,481 (pro rata)
Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Length of Contract: Fixed term for 12 months
Closing Date: 12pm, Monday 2 November
Interview Date: Monday 9 November
Within the Leeds health economy, there are several hundred websites providing health and care information. Currently organisations are all engaged in a similar cycle of providing online information relating to services, educational and self-management material. A project has been underway to develop the Leeds Open Online Platform (LOOP) which will provide an open data service and allow all directories and websites in Leeds to take a feed from a single, accurate and trusted source. LOOP adoption will result in improved data accuracy and a greater awareness of services and resources, particularly in relation to prevention and self-management. We have been successful in gaining 1 year funding to enable organisations to adopt LOOP. With this brings a new and exciting opportunity to recruit a ‘LOOP User Community Builder’.
In this role you will help to build a community of LOOP users with a key focus on engaging the skills, knowledge and talent of this group. You will also promote LOOP to the wider third sector to support them in gaining greater control of their information and sharing it with a wider audience. As an independent self-starter, you will understand how to work collaboratively and build relationships to develop a sustainable cross-organisation user community. The role will operate through partnership principles with a focus on use of data to benefit the people of Leeds.
- Actively market and promote LOOP within the third sector.
- Support motivated individuals to transform ideas into action for the benefit of themselves and the wider user group.
- Support project success through the creation of ‘data for good’ forums and sessions.
- Support stakeholders across local authorities and the third sector to discover and share community data assets.
