Healthier Working Futures is a partnership of healthcare and Third Sector partners working creatively together to offer fulfilling employment and training opportunities for young people, aged 16-25, in the health and care sector.

The work is funded by the UK Community Renewal Fund and plans to engage over 600 young adults by June 2022, addressing barriers to employment.

As part of the Healthier Working Futures project, applications are invited from third sector partners to run a programme ranging from 2 – 10 weeks that will equip young people with the skills they need to apply for health and care sector roles.  The activities should help prepare young people for employment and include group engagement activities; briefing and information sessions; seeing is believing visits; and 1-1 support such as CV writing, completing applications and interview practice.
