The Hamara Supplementary School is a project designed to address the educational disadvantages of children in schools.
By identifying barriers that prevent young people from engaging in and enjoying learning, the project aims to raise the educational attainment and aspirations of children and thus increase their prospects for success in education and employment.
The School has moved to teaching online and lessons are delivered across all primary school ages and structured using the National Curriculum.
The turnout and feedback of these sessions has been so positive that Hamara wants to extend this service to the wider community across Leeds.
If you would like your child to be involved or want to find out more, please contact the Project Co-ordinator: [email protected].
