Are you interested in contributing to the design of Leeds’ first intergenerational LGBTQ+ housing project and community space?
Do you identify as LGBTQ+ AND have autism, identify as neurodiverse or have a learning disability? Pride of Place Living would like to hear from you!
Pride of Place Living aims to build 70 high quality and affordable homes in Leeds. These homes will be accessible, affordable and suitable for younger and older people, single people and families.
They will form part of an inclusive community both for residents and the wider LGBTQ+ community.
Pride of Place Living would like to talk to people about how to design the housing community so that it can:
- be accessible
- feel safe
- support joint activities between the residents
Pride of Place facilitator, Soo Lincoln is running a friendly focus group specifically for LGBTQ+ people with a learning disability and/or autism, as these groups were underrepresented in the
initial survey and workshop events.
It is expected that this will take place during the week commencing 18 July. The day, time and venue (it may be in person or online) for the event is to be confirmed.
