The new Health and Social Care Bill is currently making its way through Parliament and if successful will be implemented in April 2022. The purpose of the proposals is to integrate health and care systems to provide a more joined up service for citizens and improve both their experience and health.

As part of the Integrated Care System (ICS) a new Integrated Care Board (ICB) will be created in West Yorkshire developed from the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Partnership, taking on many of the responsibilities of the current Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).

Integrated Care Board constitution
A constitution is being written and will set out the duties of the ICB and detail how it will conduct business. As a vital part of this work, our Third Sector colleagues are invited to give feedback on the draft constitution. Visit to read the constitution and associated documents. The website contains frequently asked questions (FAQs) as well as information in a range of formats.
