Health and Housing Training is being piloted with organisations and teams working with people in South Leeds.

Improving housing for better health and wellbeing is one of the twelve priorities of the Leeds Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

Bringing together people who work in the housing and health sectors, and people who work with those effected by poor housing in deprived areas, is a vital part of delivering this priority. To support and improve partnership working, Leeds City Council is planning to run some joint training sessions, starting off in the Inner South area of the city.

To make sure the training sessions are beneficial to staff from all sectors working on the ground in health and care, we are conducting a survey to gather insights into your specific needs and interests around housing issues.

A survey was run to get colleagues input to directly inform the design and content of the joint health and housing training and development sessions.
