Healthy Hearts at Hamara

//Healthy Hearts at Hamara

Hamara Healthy Living Centre is now initiating the 5 Ways to Healthy Hearts programme, in partnership with the Leeds South and East CCG, and the Leeds Community Fund, targeting mainly local Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic (BME) communities.

  • Healthy Hearts Workshops will run for about 3 hours with a short break at half-time, and include activities such as a game and a healthy salad/sandwich making activity.
  • Health MOTs/One-to one sessions  are drop-in sessions of 20-30 min, at the Hamara Centre.
  • Physical activity sessions offer a choice of activities from walking, yoga and gym sessions; tailored to individual preferences.

The Hamara Centre is on Tempest Road, Leeds, LS11 6RD.
