Grants of up to £500 are available for community groups, and up to £1,500 for registered charities in the UK.
These grants are for wellbeing activities and projects benefiting people aged 55 and over that aim to reduce social isolation and loneliness.
The application deadline for the next round of grants is Thursday, October 31, 2024. Smaller UK community organisations and charities working at a grassroots level, including Community Interest Companies (CICs), are eligible to apply.
Examples of projects that may be funded include:
- Yoga activities
- Guest speakers
- Day trips
- Regular cinema clubs
- “Knit and Natter” clubs
- Lunch clubs.
It’s important to note that applications with ties to a local Home Instead office will be given priority.
Eligible organisations must complete the online form on the Home Instead Charities website to apply. For more information, including contact details, please visit the ‘Locations’ tab on the charity’s website.
