Yorkshire Sport and Public Health England are looking for people to share their story of how physical activity has impacted positively on their mental health.

Yorkshire Sport and Public Health England are developing a resource for mental health and physical activity organisations and local authorities to use to promote the benefits of physical activity on people’s mental health which will hopefully be launched during Mental Health Awareness week in May.

They are currently looking for examples of some of these stories from people who would be willing to be recorded, either on video or audio, to build a resource library to support this project.

Do you know someone who could help by sharing their experience?

Please share this open call with your local groups and networks to help find willing volunteers who would be happy to share their personal stories of positive ways in which physical activity has impacted on their mental health.

Yorkshire Sport and Public Health England would like stories from a wide cross-section of society and that are representative of all local communities.
