The Jigsaw Club is a new local, friendly support group for anyone living in Cookridge, Tinshill, Holt Park and Ireland Wood to attend – regardless of age, ability or disability or background.

Kirstie Lewis has set up the group to reach out across the local community, saying jigsaws can be good for mental wellbeing, as well as providing an activity people can do together. The plan is to have a group people can visit, and to deliver jigsaws to housebound residents.

Day: The group launches on Tuesday 28 January 2020, then runs fortnightly

Time: turn up any time between 1.30 – 3.00pm

Cost: no joining fee, but there’s a £1 donation each meeting (if possible) to cover rent and refreshments

Place: Welcome In Community Centre & Cafe, Bedford Drive, LS16 6DJ

Details: You’ll be offered a drink and biscuit and have the chance to chat and do jigsaw puzzles. You don’t have to come every fortnight – just turn up! Volunteers are welcome too – just get in touch with Kirsite.
