The local NHS has teamed up with the Leeds Local Optical Committee to launch a new service called CUES (Covid-19 Urgent Eyecare Service).

CUES is free to access and is for all patients. The service will predominately be delivered over the phone or a video consultation. However, depending on the severity of the individual’s eye problem, they may need to be seen face to face by a clinician. This could be in the community or at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Find out how the service will be delivered by watching this short video clip from Paul Appleson, an optometrist in Leeds:

A patient leaflet is available to help you to communicate about the service, along with a series of social media posts.
