Leeds Autism Services (LAS) has launched a new website, to provide easily accessible information about the charity and with the aim of reflecting who they are as a modern organisation which views autistic people as an important, equal and integral part of our society.
You can find information on a range of items from the latest autism news, to how to get a placement with LAS, donating or creating your own fundraising event, viewing current vacancies, volunteer opportunities and what it means to live with autism.
They have introduced lots of new content and the site is designed to help you find your way around with ease. The website is also fully responsive on mobile devices, making it easy to navigate on a wide range of devices such as computers, mobile phones and tablets.
LAS want to show people that they are friendly, accepting and diverse. They also want people to know that they do more than provide direct support for people with autism; through their work with autistic people, their families, businesses, health and social care services and the wider community they aim to promote acceptance, understanding, integration and a positive view of autistic people.
They would welcome any suggestions to improve the site, as we want to make it as accessible as possible. If you have any comments or feedback, please send them to [email protected] to help them to make improvements.
