Additional materials are now available to assist communication around Leeds’ Covid-19 Volunteers Debrief Service, established for volunteers who are supporting the Covid response. 

The support line is operated by a small group of volunteers, managed by Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) and is available 7 days a week, 9-6pm for all people involved in frontline COVID-19 volunteering in Leeds.  The helpline offers a listening/debrief service to talk about anything related to volunteering experiences and feelings.
The service was originally set up for volunteers working through the Community Cares volunteering programme, but after launching there is additional capacity for the service to take calls from people volunteering during COVID within other organisations.
