Leeds Mindful Employer Network, commissioned by Leeds Public Health and led by Leeds Mind, brings local employers together to champion positive mental health at work.

It is free to join the network, and members can benefit from a wide range of support, guidance, information and events focused on improving workplace mental health. Employers can access free tools and resources to help with areas such as raising awareness, reducing stigma, introducing policies and embedding good practice.

Currently the Network is supporting employers with specific challenges around the Covid-19 crisis. Regular bulletins are keeping members up-to-date with the latest guidance and weekly online events are providing an opportunity for employers to discuss challenges, share ideas and learn from each others’ experiences. The Network always welcomes offers to speak at their events to promote local services, share guidance or present case studies.

The next online weekly check-in on 14th May is a chance to learn about Mindwell’s Coronavirus Mental Health Information Hub. Zoe Limbert from Mindwell will be giving the group a demonstration of the Hub, answering questions and leading a discussion around current mental health challenges, ideas, solutions and opportunities for support. The session is free and open to all members of the Network. Places are currently all taken but visit the website to add yourself to the waiting list.
