The Market Place is a well established and respected provider of young people’s early intervention and prevention services in Leeds – particularly in relation to meeting the emotional wellbeing and mental health needs of young people.

They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated person to work within the Youth Work Team supporting young people aged 11-25 years old. To work in the Drop-In, one to one My Plan service and deliver group work sessions.

Hours: 30 hours per week

Salary: £22,886 pro rata (based on 35 hrs FTE)

This post is to cover maternity leave until end of October 2019 (potential for extension subject to funding).

They are looking for someone who is available to work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (including evenings) and Saturday.

Essential requirement: At least two years Youth Work experience and a recognised Youth Work Qualification or equivalent.

He has worked in the third sector since 2001 first with Volition and then LOPF and is the longest serving member of the Forum Central team.
