Mentally Healthy Leeds achieves recognition in a report published by the Centre for Mental Health which examines the initiatives of nine local authorities that are rising to the challenges presented by mental health in their communities.

This feature gives well deserved acclaim to all the hard work of Leeds’ third sector partnerships in achieving such a note-worthy approach!

Mentally Healthy Leeds is the public mental health service in Leeds, led by Touchstone, working hard to help reduce health inequalities, and improve mental health and wellbeing in communities in Leeds.

The report by the Centre for Mental Health presents learning from local councils across the UK prior to the pandemic and in the midst of the challenges brought by Covid-19, alongside an overview of the evidence for prevention and the national policy context.

It’s fantastic that Leeds is among the nine regions highlighted because of their pioneering work.
