Metcalfe Smith Trust – Final Call for Short Break Grant Applications

/, Mental Health, PSI/Metcalfe Smith Trust – Final Call for Short Break Grant Applications

Metcalfe Smith Trust makes grants to individuals and organisations where the grant will make a significant difference to the recipient.

Trustees welcome applications from or on behalf of individuals and organisations affected by mental or physical disability or long-term illness.

Trustees give grants only to applicants from the Leeds area.

National organisations are supported only for projects specific to Leeds.

Grants are usually between £250 and £2500.

Please note that the Trust also administers ‘Brook House’ grants in conjunction with Leeds City Council and Leeds Community Fund. Brook House grants fund short breaks for individuals in need and this will be the final funding round for these grants.

Ongoing grant applications can be made for convalescent or respite care; for purchasing necessary equipment and household items and for meeting other costs which living with disabilities inevitably incur.

Please see the website for full details of how to apply: https://metcalfesmithtrust.org.uk/ or contact metcalfesmithbs@gmail.com
