Mentally Health Leeds in partnership with LivingWorks are pleased to announce new dates for their Start Suicide Prevention training which has FREE spaces to all frontline workers in Leeds including volunteers and peer mentors.

LivingWorks Start is a 90-minute online training program that will teach you how to recognise when someone is having thoughts of suicide and take meaningful action to keep them safe.

The course is for anyone over the age of 13 and no formal or prior suicide prevention training is needed.

In addition to completing the online training participants will also be expected to attend a 2-hour workshop facilitated by an experienced Suicide Prevention trainer.

This will provide an opportunity to discuss the skills learned during Living Works Start in a safe and supportive environment.

Due to current social distancing measures they are currently unable to delivery safeTALK and ASIST suicide prevention training.
