Leeds Mindfulness Co-op has over 10 years of experience in delivering Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress courses.
This is a great place to start making the changes that you want to improve your wellbeing.
In this course Leeds Mindfulness Co-op are delivering the 8 week course content over 4 extended Sunday afternoon sessions to make it accessible to those without evening availability.
Each session will be 4hrs delivered in a supportive group environment (6-12 people).
Each week introduces key ideas and practices.
- Participants will learn to clearly perceive thoughts, physical sensations, emotions and events at the moment they occur without reacting in an automatic or habitual way.
- By developing a new relationship with the conditions we find ourselves in we begin to respond creatively.
- Experiences don’t overwhelm us and we can remain steady through life’s ups and downs.
- Mindfulness isn’t a cool and detached awareness, rather developing kindness and self compassion is at the heart of the course.
The course is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience of mindfulness.
