People In Action runs two great groups for children and young people, supported by BBC Children in Need.
Play, Fun, Learn!
Play, Fun, Learn! is a group for children aged 8 – 12 with a learning disability.
It is free to attend. At the group, children can take part in all sorts of fun activities, such as:
- Baking
- Drama
- Dance
- Sports
- Arts Activities
It also a place to make new friends, try new things and gain new skills.
Parents and carers are welcome to stay, or take the opportunity for a few hours of respite.
Play, Fun, Learn groups meet from 10am to 2pm on 40 weekends a year in Leeds.
Saturdays are in Otley and Sundays are in East End Park.

Saturday T.E.A.M.
Saturday T.E.A.M. (Teens Engage And Meet) is a social group for young people aged 13-18 with a learning disability.
Group members will:
- Make friends
- Have fun
- Try something new
- Be active
- Learn life skills
- Get healthy
By getting involved in activities like:
- Sports
- Creative Arts
- Performing Arts
- Trips Out
The group meets on Saturdays, 40 weeks a year in Crossgates, Leeds between 10am and 2pm.
