Raising Aspirations, a service from Health For All, is currently recruiting new referrals who may need support in getting into education, training or employment.

Raising Aspirations is a whole family approach project offering supportive steps to people 17+ years. The project is aimed at unemployed individuals and families in South Leeds (LS10 & LS11), particularly those furthest away from the job market. Helping them gain confidence, develop employability skills and work towards their long term goals and aspirations for the future, while taking the first steps into education, training or employment.  The service also offers support to families and individuals who are affected by any form of disability and require support finding employment, education and training.

They offer coaching sessions to help people focus and plan for their future employment goals, as well as group work sessions to help build confidence, learn new skills, enterprise workshops, CV writing, support applying for jobs, further education and training. The team can also offer courses and taster sessions from a wide range of professions including ESOL, Woodwork, Emotional Wellbeing, Basic IT Skills, Basic Photography Skills, CSCS/Security Card training and many more to give people the chance to just “give it a go” in a safe comfortable environment.

If you require any further information or have anyone who may be interested in support for the service, please contact the Raising Aspirations team on 0113 270 6903 / [email protected] /
