Asymptomatic Third Sector key workers can access rapid Covid-19 testing at two sites across the city, and employers can order home testing kits through the national system until 12 April.

The testing sites are located at:

  • Headingley Campus, Leeds Beckett University, LS6 3QS: open Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm
  • City Campus, Leeds Beckett University, LS1 3HE: open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 2pm

There’s no requirement to book. Staff can just attend whichever site is most convenient. They will be required to show staff/organisation ID, or proof that they’ve been invited to attend for a test. Staff should have two tests during a week-long period, and are recommended to be tested even if they’ve received their first vaccination dose.

Please see the link below to an information pack which key messages and frequently asked questions to help you promote the importance of this testing programme to your colleagues. The following risk assessments should also be reviewed before visiting the testing sites:

Businesses with over 10 workers can now offer their employees free, rapid and regular testing to be taken at home. Please note the 12 April deadline.

Community Hub collection points for home testing kits will shortly be opening and over the coming weeks local pharmacies will also be points of collection for home testing kits. Updates will be shared via Leeds CCG website.
