West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership (WYHCP) alongside West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Unit invite you for a lunch and learn session to launch a number of reports undertaken across West Yorkshire to support the reduction of adversity, trauma and violent crime.

The lunch and learn will be opened by Alison Lowe, Deputy Mayor of West Yorkshire and Kersten England, MBE, Chief Executive of Bradford Council and Executive Lead for the West Yorkshire Adversity, Trauma and Resilience Programme.

The session will be supported by people with lived experience and will include the opportunity for discussion into how we can collectively take forward the actions and recommendations from the reports.

The reports include:

  • Addressing the root causes of serious violence and exploitation of young people in West Yorkshire: Summary of key findings and recommendations: June 2021, CREST
  • Adversity Trauma and Resilience in West Yorkshire – a review of life-course evidence, approaches and provision to support the transformation to a trauma informed health and care system by 2030: September 2021, Mark Crowe, Jim Devereaux and Molly Jobson on behalf of Humankind
  • Violence Against Women and Girls: A literature Review, September 2021, Megan Bennett

Following the launch, all reports will be available to organisations across West Yorkshire to support and inform practice.
