Disability equality charity Scope made an appearance on Alex Brooker’s BBC Two documentary last week.

Comedian and TV presenter Alex examines his disability to acknowledge for the first time how much it impacts on who he is, and explores what it really means to be disabled in the UK today. As part of this, he paid a visit to Scope’s helpline, which is getting an increasing number of calls from disabled people in distress.

Scope’s helpline provides free, independent and impartial advice and support on issues that matter to disabled people and their families.
