As you may recall, throughout August, the Forum Central, Volition, Leeds Older People’s Forum and Time To Shine teams worked together to coordinate Summer Time Out – a month long series of workplace wellbeing and mental health sessions, aimed at third sector health and care staff, trustees and volunteers.

A reflective report reviewing and evaluation the programme is now available, featuring some of our recommendations around how we might build on this and take learning within Forum Central and partners across the wider community to support wellbeing across our health and care workforce at this time.

One recommendation we are implementing as a result is a monthly ‘Forum Central Skills Share’ session for Volition and Leeds Older People’s Forum members, open to anyone working within the sector and an open forum for discussion, sharing and connecting with peers.
The first in the series is taking place on 10th December, focused on ‘What are we going to do this winter?’ from 1-2pm. You can find out more and sign up to attend the session here.
