The Leeds Neighbourhood Networks have been vital to supporting older people in  our communities during Covid-19 and will be essential as we move into our recovery phase.

With our partners, Centre for Ageing Better and Leeds Older People’s Forum we are evaluating their response and the first snapshot report from Sheffield Hallam University can be found here.

We knew we’d be able to rely on our Neighbourhood Networks in this time of crisis. This report done last year shows how important they are in the system, the challenges and opportunities they face.  To learn more about the Networks and those in Birmingham that were developed following a visit to Leeds, sign up for this webinar taking place on Tuesday 28 July from 2-3pm.

The webinar will explore how Neighbourhood Networks in Leeds and Birmingham are responding to COVID-19, and the role of community organisations in supporting people in later life to remain connected to others and involved in our communities.
