The West Yorkshire and Harrogate Grief and Loss Helpline Service is open throughout the Christmas period, including Christmas Day, and short Zoom sessions are being held throughout December to help people understand more about it.
It is a free service, commissioned by West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership and the NHS, delivered by West Yorkshire and Harrogate Independent Hospices Consortium, Bradford Counselling Collaborative and Leeds Mind.
The practical and emotional support and advice service is available 7 days a week, from 8am to 8pm, including bank holidays, Christmas and New Year. It offers free telephone counselling support and includes text and live online chat facilities as well as translation options. The service can support anyone who needs it and can signpost people to ongoing sources of support and care in the places where they live.
Just 10 minutes of time is needed to find out more about the service, commissioned by the Partnership and NHS and delivered by West Yorkshire and Harrogate Independent Hospices Consortium, Bradford Counselling Collaborative and Leeds Mind.
What is the Grief & Loss service? Who can use it? When is it available? What support is available?
This is a very informal way to gain some more knowledge and understanding about this service.
To attend and experience a 5 minute PowerPoint Presentation about the service followed by a 5 minute Q&A session just click on the Zoom link below a couple of minutes before the start time.
