Forum Central is pleased to announce that Kerry Jackson is the third sector’s new Health and Wellbeing Board Representative.

Kerry is the Chief Executive of St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds, a community based charity providing expert palliative and end of life care to individuals with terminal illness and support for their families.

Kerry’s excellent strategic leadership skills, experience of representing the sector and working in a challenging and complex environment, and great interpersonal skills made her an ideal candidate for the role. She is committed to supporting improvements in health and wellbeing across whole systems, and sees the role as being a way to influence positive change by providing a voice for the third sector.

The Health and Wellbeing Board
The Leeds Health and Wellbeing Board is the key body overseeing improvements in health care, working towards improving the health of all people in Leeds, especially the poorest.

Kerry said:

“I am delighted to be appointed to this role and look forward to working with Forum Central and fellow third sector organisations to influence positive change for our communities.”
