Leeds Community Foundation are now accepting applications to the Time to Shine Seasonal Loneliness Fund.

Out of the Shadows: Time to Shine is managed by Leeds Older People’s Forum and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund’s Fulfilling Lives: Ageing Better programme to reduce social isolation and loneliness amongst people over 50.

Time to Shine selects partners across Leeds to deliver unique and creative projects that engage socially isolated people.

We know that older people can be particularly lonely and isolated over holiday periods, when other activity and support often stops.

Time to Shine will be working with Leeds Community Foundation to make grants to community groups addressing seasonal loneliness over the Christmas holidays 2019 and the summer holidays 2020.

For more information, and to submit an application, please visit https://leedscf.org.uk/time-to-shine-seasonal-loneliness-fund.

Time to Shine aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness amongst older people in Leeds. It is led by Leeds Older People’s Forum.
