Touchstone invites professionals from voluntary and statutory sectors working in the South and East of Leeds to take part in free mental health awareness training courses.
These training sessions will run for one full day each, they are aimed at exploring the issues and stigma around mental health, and to build confidence of professionals to work more effectively with people with mental health issues.
The sessions are free to attend, and the only requirement (to satisfy Touchstone’s funding criteria) is that the attending professionals need to work in the statutory or voluntary sectors, and be based (working or living) in either South or East Leeds.
The next training session will be on ‘LGBT* & Mental Health’ on Thursday 23rd November 2017.
