Administration and Communications Officer

Volition is looking for an Administration and Communications Officer to provide a variety of structured administrative support across our key developing project areas, alongside wider communications and marketing tasks.

Salary: Starting at £21,269 per annum
Hours: Up to 35 hours per week
Contract: 1 year fixed term (view to extend, subject to funding)
Location: Leeds
Closing date: 12pm, 6 September 2022
Interview date: 9am to 1pm, 15 September 2022

Purpose of post

As well as providing project specific admin support, the post holder will work closely with the Forum Central Communications Manager to provide day to day communications support for our team, such as managing our membership database mailing lists, writing bulletins, blogs, news articles and website and social media content.

This is an interesting and varied role which gives the opportunity for the successful candidate to work across a number of different areas of our work to utilise and develop their administrative and communication skills across a number of different projects and pieces throughout the course of the working week, working closely with wider team members to ensure the support provided is seamless, well organised and efficient.
