Connect in the North will be leading on the ‘Being Connected: Social’ element of the new Being Me Strategy 2018-2021.  To support this work they plan to bring together a task group and are now looking for volunteers.

Call for Volunteers

Do you think people with learning difficulties could have better social lives?

Do you want to help make that happen?

If yes, you are invited to be part of a group that will be working to improve the social lives of people with learning difficulties in Leeds

You need to be free on Tuesdays.

Who will be on the group?

  • People with learning difficulties
  • Family Carers
  • People who pay for services for people with learning difficulties
  • People who provide services for people with learning difficulties

The job of the Task Group is to do things that will help people with learning difficulties in Leeds have good social lives. The group will report to the Learning Disability Partnership Board. Meetings will take place four times a year on a Tuesday. The first meeting is being planned for April 2018.
