With Dementia Action Week fast approaching, various organisations are hosting their own events to raise awareness. A special Dementia Awareness Event is happening on Tuesday 6 May, 11 am to 3 pm at Crossgates Shopping Centre.
Everyone is invited to drop in and discover a wide range of support, advice and services for people living with dementia, their families and support networks. The event will include:
- Stall holders showcasing their services
- Information on local support and services
- Expert advice for dementia care
- Community networking opportunities
