Northern Man Festival (NMF) champions men and men’s health.
This year Northern Man Festival runs from Saturday 7 to Sunday 15 June 2025. This aligns with Men’s Health Week which is 9 to 15 June 2025.

The theme this year is ‘Connect and Celebrate’.

In 2023 NMF attracted over 4,000 people to MHU and affiliate events. These included sport tournaments, gigs, discussions and outward bound activities.
NMF25 is coordinated by Space2 and funded by the Lottery Partnerships Fund.

Northern Man Festival is coordinated by Space2 and brought to you by Men’s Health Unlocked – a partnership of Leeds-based organisations championing men and a gendered lens on health and wellbeing. MHU is a network involving and supporting men, and men’s services and activities in Leeds. MHU advocates for men’s health at a local, regional and national level, and has contributed to developments happening nationally around the new Men’s Health strategy.
The Northern Man Festival is a celebration of the shared work and interconnectivity that has been achieved in the past few the years in Leeds. The festival aims to highlight the range of wonderful creative, fun, and important activities and events that are run by organisations who are part of the MHU network.
The festival coincides with Men’s Health Week which is recognised nationally and takes place on the second week of June.
